Irian Jaya Jaguars
One of our most favorite
Designer Jaguar Carpet Python. They are the result of breeding the
Jaguar gene into pure Irian Jaya Carpet Pythons (Morelia harrisoni).
Due to repeating this process with an Irian Jaya Jaguar we were able to
hatch the first 75% Irian Jaya Jags already in the year 2006.
Our Irian Jaya Jaguars typically have very saturated sunflower yellow
colors and an awesome reduction of pattern elements. One of the reason
for their beautiful look is a unique bloodline of West Papuan Pythons
aka Irian Jaya Carpet that we have exclusively used to produce our
Irian Jaya Jaguars.
This bloodline furthermore seems to be responsible for blue eyed babies of Irian Jaya Jaguars that we produce every year.
